At the southeast point of Batangas, in Brgy. Laiya Aplaya, rests a seven kilometer stretch of fine white sand beach stretching along the coast of Sigayan Bay and Verde Island passage. The beach is nested behind the pinnacles of Mt. Daguldol and home base to numerous hiking destinations, such as Naambon waterfalls and Mainit Pulang Bato. Due of its close-proximity to Manila, Batangas and Quezon, this beach became a popular destination for weekend pleasure trips and company outings.
