A tourists' paradise in the outskirts of Ternate town in Cavite, this pleasant five-star resort is just a few hours drive from Manila. A world class beach resort with it's seven coves with black sandy beaches, luxurious accommodations, a famous golf course and good restaurants. It features facilities for surf and turf sports, and many other activities.
Update (11-29-07):
Novotel Puerto Azul also offers amenities like restaurants, coffee shop, swimming pool, tennis courts, squash, golf course, and windsurfing.

you can ask them directly. there are contact numbers now available.
puerto azul hotel is not novotel anymore; you might want to update your info because the last time i heard, closed daw ang hotel and only the cottages remain open.
thanks for the updates. - shiela
Still ok for a beach day in Puerto Azul?
The owners which is the Panlilio family noted cronies of the Marcos era are basically at the end of the ropes.. Debts, foreclosures have hounded the businesses such as Puerto Azul, Grand boulevard hotel. They even once had an airline called Grand Airways.. It had a grand launch and a grand closure too.
IT was once a Panlilio paradise.. now reduced to nothing.. I wonder where the Panlilios are.. I used to watch the helicopter pick them up from their house fronting the beach..
Too bad this was really a nice getaway that was the closest to Manila.
Visited resort to play golf last week. Course has not been maintained for over a year and is almost unplayable. Clubhouse in poor condition. Caddies said that no workers had been paid in past year. I would not recommend it
Another instance of "failure to maintain" that kills a good business. What a shame, because it is happening with the Boracay beaches, too!!! Better to go to Phuket, Thailand.
Please put more picture and cottage rate per night.
We are actually having second thoughts now because of these comments but still we would to give it a try. We are a planning for a group party (overnight) in Puerto Azul. This will be some time in November this year. Can someone give us any info? current details on Puerto Azul, rates, others.
Its actually so sad to see Puerto Azul in its current state. There is so much potential to bring life back into the place but poor management has taken over. We actually still go there a lot to go jetskiing. Please try and visit Puerto and maybe we can bring back the islands treasure. Also do visit us at Edwerks Jetski Tuning in the Puerto Azul pier.
simula ba nung nagsara hotel wasted na lahat?mukhang isang uuod nalang pipirma sarado na lahat eh..joke lang.=) Tagal din nman nag trabaho si father dito eh..nung bukas ba hotel.SALAMAT.=)
puerto azul was once one of the prime beach resorts back then, it may appear far from what it looks rigth now but i have good memories there. It all depends on the person who will see puerto in its current state. I personally enjoy the environment-the uncrowded feeling-where you can enjoy the sights and facilities in the club house without any hassle.
We frequented vista de loro from 2007 up to 2008. First i felt spooky when i saw those abandoned buildings that we passed by and the vacant units in vista de loro but it was okay because we went there by groups-not less than 15 always-and we stay there at least 3 days. i really enjoy going there kase hindi crowded and i can really savor what nature has to offer-the over-looking of the beach, especially sunset, seen in our unit in vista, the VACANT PARKING SPACE where we sometimes have a drinking spree, and the uncrowded clubhouse. There is just some people who doesnt like being crowded...
how about the rates?..
Our unit at Vista de Loro is for rent at P3,500/day. It views China Sea and Manila. 1BR, 1TB, lving, dining, kitchen, balcony. Parking is just in front of the unit. Should you want to see pictures of the unit, please provide your email address at 09178586431 or liliagg59@yahoo.com
I always visit Puerto Azul for the past 3 years, and it was really relaxing because its not crowded at all, I can ride a JetSki without worrying of somebody to hit, before I usually go to Subic just to rent a JetSki but when I heared of Puerto Azul and they have also JetSki I tried it once, now I go there everytime I need to unwind, and its near Manila.
